Bio: “Sam has gained many of the skills and drive he has for music through his own gigging life. Playing with incredible local and international talents such as Graeme Norris, Nick Hempton, Dale Barlow and Wil Sargisson helped fuel and inspire his passion. Sam has had ample experience with students from the age of five through to forty plus and is comfortable tailoring each lesson to suit the individual. As a teacher, his goal is to share with and encourage this passion in his students.”

Performs / Has performed with: Performs as Imraan and as Street Rat. Perform/performed with Jordan Rakei, Mark Lowndes, Noah Slee, Inigo, Mahalia Simpson, Hamilton Band, Hanlon Brothers, Bec Laughton, JSQZE, Spacifix and other local acts. Have also played in several contemporary theatre shows locally.
Has performed at: Festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Island Vibes Festival, and many local Brisbane festivals. Local venues including The Triffid, The Zoo, Black Bear Lodge, Max Watts and many more. Have also toured overseas throughout the UK, the USA, Europe, New Zealand and the Pacific islands.

Inspired by: Inspiration is an interesting word, but I admire people like Daniel O‘Brien, Michael Nyman, Mozart, Dario Marianelli, J.S. Bach, Alexandre Desplat, Amanda Palmer, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, all musicians I come in contact with. I admire anyone who enjoys sharing music or art.

Performs / Has performed with: Dozens of Brisbane bands and as a solo performer.
Has performed at: Has worked as a musician in a number of high profile contexts, including doing stage and studio work for Rick Price, Lior, Wendy Matthews, Mark Sholtez and Damien Leith. Regularly performs as a solo act across the region.
